Zalena M. Kersting attended Arizona State University, graduating in 1986 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree Summa Cum Laude.   She then attended Law School at Arizona State University, graduating in 1989.   While attending law school, Zalena was a Member of the International Law Team.  In 1989, she was selected as a member of ASU’s International Moot Court team, competing in the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition.  In 1989, she was licensed  to practice law in Arizona and in the United States District Court.  In 1990, she obtained her license to practice law in Illinois.  alena has been practicing family law in Arizona for nearly thirty years and  is a member of the Family Law Section of the Maricopa County Bar Association, Family Law Section of the State Bar of Arizona & the Association of Family & Conciliation Courts.
